PMWB Projects: Engagement with Nonprofits (Presented by PMI)

Through practical examples and lessons learned, attendees will see how chapters connect with nonprofit organizations, identify project opportunities, and turn those opportunities into PMWB projects. Participants will learn how discovery conversations help uncover nonprofit needs, align those needs with chapter capabilities, and create opportunities for chapter project professionals to contribute their skills through PMWB projects.
The session will also explore how PMWB Global opportunities can help project professionals gain experience, support nonprofit organizations, and strengthen chapter engagement while local project opportunities are being developed.

As Social Impact Coordinator for the PMI Puerto Rico Chapter, she channels that instinct for translating complexity into Project Managers Without Borders (PMWB) partnerships, aligning nonprofits and volunteer project managers around shared goals. She holds a master's in communication from the University of Puerto Rico and brings six-plus years of nonprofit communication and social impact leadership to that work. |
