PMP/CAPM Prep Course

The PMP Exam Prep course has been designed to help candidates achieve their Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute. It also qualifies you for the prerequisite 35 Hours of project management education. This course will also prepare you to pass the Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM®) examination. 

Led by a Project Management Professional and experienced project manager and educator, this course combines both classroom and access to PM resources and support that will lead you through the ten knowledge areas, forty-seven processes, and five process groups to equip you with a better understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®).

Everyone who attends this course will come away in a strong position to write (and pass!) the PMP and CAPM Exam.

Offered in an intensive format over 3 weekends on Saturdays and Sundays (5 days total)

The Instructor

Your instructor is Derek Atkins, PMP – a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience helping companies in the areas of project management, workforce planning, and technology consulting.His varied background includes roles at Canadian and Overseas financial institutions, North America’s largest theatre organization and Communications Technology consulting firms.

Derek has a passion for sharing knowledge, has taught Project Management and Information Technology courses at the College level and is committed to lifelong learning.
