PM P2P Connect: Adaptable Leadership; Becoming a Servant Leader
Adaptable Leadership
Becoming a Servant Leader
Knowing the right leadership approach, based on the situation and individual, can
be a challenge. Adapting your management and leadership style is a life skill and a
leadership imperative.
As a leader, you need to be flexible and adaptable, steering change and responding
to change. Leading by your examples, you help others face and adapt to change,
too. In this session, learn some common techniques for ensuring you choose the
right approach for the situation, and ensuring that your approach works for not only
you, but your team as well.
Everybody has situations that are stressful, no matter how many times we do
something, we do not get the results we are looking for. Many times, the answer is
easy – change our approach, adapt our leadership style, think outside the box. This
session provides some ideas and guidance to make that happen.
Key areas covered during this session include:
- A way to understand your interpersonal perception, how do you see yourself
- An understanding of what others see
- Personality Styles that impact the situation
- Servant leadership roles that every leader needs to be able to assume
- An assessment on your adaptable leadership capability
By attending this session, you learn how to:
- Assess the situation
- Understand the personalities involved
- Create options for success, and
- Adapt your leadership approach
Who should attend this session:
Any manager or leader who is responsible for leading and influencing others can
benefit from this program. It is especially useful to leaders who must deal with
different teams and personalities daily and are having challenges.
This is not industry specific – any industry that requires leadership, can benefit.
