Please join us in our PD Outing at Conestoga College, where we will learn about this new program that has achieved the prestigious Qualified Education Provider (QEP) status from the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP)!

 

The School of Business at Conestoga College offers the only program of its kind in Canada, and they have partnered with the Association for Change Management Professionals to support preparation for the CCMP designation.

 

PMI-CTT and Conestoga’s School of Business are thrilled to welcome PMI-CTT’s members, Students, and Professional PMs to the Welcome Centre at the Doon Campus to join us to learn more from our two distinguished speakers:

Kimberley has been a faculty member at Conestoga College in the School of Business for over two years. She has taught in the Management and Leadership Development program at the College in addition to Project Management while supporting the creation of new programs and providing guidance for new courses.  With more than 25 years of experience, Kimberley has a background in business, a PMP designation, Change Management certification and has led continuous improvement, strategic transformation and change initiatives within diverse industries with a special focus in Higher Education. In 2019, she completed a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a focus on non-profit, public leadership and strategy.

 

Prior to joining Conestoga, Kimberley worked for 10 years in higher education most recently holding the role of Director of HR Projects, Technology and Analytics focusing on leading operations and strategic initiatives. In addition to leading her portfolio, she was responsible for building and executing a continuous improvement culture within her previous institution and was a contributor to two published books specific to Lean Higher Education.

Tamara Freeman has a varied educational and career background. In her early career, she worked in community services on the front lines four years. She moved on to working in the finance industry as a Financial Advisor for four years. Most recently, Tamara has worked in the educational sector for close to 14 years. She spent four years working in the private career college system teaching in business and community services and served as a Campus Director managing a team of instructors and college administrators for three years.  She joined Conestoga in 2018 as a part time professor, teaching in the Office Administration program. In 2021, Tamara became a full-time faculty member and filled in as a Program Coordinator for the Office Administration Legal & Administrative Business Management Programs. Since September 2022, she has served as a Program anager and a Chair in the School of Business and she currently teaches in the Management and Leadership Development program. Tamara holds a Masters Degree in Leadership from the Lang School of Business, University of Guelph, a Humanities Degree from York University and a College Diploma in Community Services.
