Guy Pearce will guide us through his case study in national digital health based on a recent experience building a national digital health strategy under the auspices of the WHO and Global Affairs Canada for Rwanda in east central Africa.
Presenter's Bio:
Guy is an accomplished digital transformation, governance, and risk consultant. Most recently, he took the helm as the lead consultant crafting Rwanda's national digital health strategy for 2023-2028 in collaboration with the World Health Organization and Global Affairs Canada. In the realm of governance, Guy has actively contributed to eight boards—three non-profits and five for-profits. In the realm of management, he led a multinational retail finance business spanning three countries and overseeing 700 staff as CEO.
Guy's professional writing spans approximately 80 articles on various facets of digital. His impact extends globally, with numerous journal articles translated into Spanish, Portuguese, French, Chinese, and Japanese. Beyond the professional sphere, Guy's passions include cycling, motorcycling, snowmobiling, camping, and skiing. He currently faces the mechanical challenge of restoring a 40-year-old motorcycle that he aims to have ready come spring.
