Speaker 1:

Alcides has over 20 years of experience in Project Management managing international projects in IT, web/media, engineering, and aviation sectors in more than 10 different countries.

Alcides is based in Montreal, Canada, and is the founder and lead instructor of Santopietro Project Management (https://santopietro.ca), an organization that provides project and career management training and mentoring across the globe. 

Alcides has been designing and delivering Project Management training courses and exam preparatory courses in multiple formats, different countries, and languages for over 10 years (PMP® Prep Course, PMI-ACP® Prep Course, Fundamentals of Project Management, Project Cost Management, Project Risk Management, Earned Value Management, Project Planning, Project Portfolio Management, and Project Management Business Games).

He has been an active member of PMI since 2002, leading projects and mentoring professionals. Based in Montreal, Canada, Alcides was VP of the PMI-Montréal board and is now PMI-CTT’s DA Manager.

Industrial Engineer with a master’s in project management, Alcides is PMP®, PMI-ACP®, CSM, and DA Coach certified and is a PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class alumnus.

Maggie Hryhorenko has over 25 years of technical and management experience in various industries. She is a PMP, PMI-ACP, and PMI-SP certified professional, and her extensive knowledge in project management, system architecture, business analysis, business readiness, business intelligence, implementing PMO, and governance planning has allowed her to work with multiple organizations consulting in IT and business solutions. Member of Worldwide Women’s Association. She is also an authorized training partner with PMI, a course director with York University, and the chief executive at Megabyte Consulting Limited.

Aside from her professional work, Maggie is passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. She has engaged in charity work for women's shelters and orphanages, Social Programs (Green Care Farm) as well as animal rescue groups in Canada, Costa Rica, and other countries. Maggie credits her success to her focus, drive, and perseverance, and is always happy to connect with like-minded professionals. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, raising butterflies, and mentoring and helping people.
