Speakers Bio:
Speaker 1: Jemerson Mamaril
Jemerson Mamaril, PMI-CTT VP of Certification, is responsible for leading and developing strategy for the Education and Certification team to deliver value through PMI certification and re-certification processes and programs for the chapter.
Jemerson Mamaril is a seasoned consulting manager based in Toronto with over a decade of experience driving business development pursuits and engagements with some of this firm’s priority accounts. He is currently leading his firm’s change management strategy, approach, and key tactical activities of an internal initiative to drive the adoption and usage of their cloud-based collaboration software and GenAI technologies.
Jemerson's expertise lies in providing advisory services to private and public organizations to enhance their strategic and operational efficiency through successfully implementing various initiatives. These initiatives include cloud-based human capital management (HCM) transformation, technology assessment, process mapping development and optimization, people and culture change management, and strategy implementation.
Furthermore, Jemerson has a proven track record of certifications, including Certified Project Management Professional, Certified PROSCI Change Management Practitioner, and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
With his vast experience and expertise, Jemerson is an inspiring speaker who can provide valuable insights into consulting and project management.

Speaker 2: Shirley De Souza
Shirley De Souza, PMI-CTT VP of Disciplined Agile, is for leading the DA Enablement Team to deliver member value through the promotion/advocacy of PMI-CTT events and educational programs with Disciplined Agile. Currently, Acting Director of Professional Development. Before assuming this position, Mrs. De Souza held the position of Event Manager. She also actively participated in Chapter Leadership team meetings and contributed to the annual strategic plan. She achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2020, and DASM in 2021 and has been volunteering with PMI-CTT since 2022, newbie and still learning.
Shirley possesses an agile growth mindset and is an out-of-box Project Leader with extensive project management, engineering, and manufacturing experience in the automotive and transformer industry. Unique skills at modernizing processes to enhance quality & reduce cost by being an adaptable leader cultivating many strong cohesive relationships to achieve results. She enjoys volunteering and sharing her life experience with others previously as a Development Chair of the Women Influencing and Impacting Toyota.
Shirley holds a B.A.Sc.- Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. She believes that the mind is a thing of wonder and is a forever learner.
Speaker 3: Kateryna Ivanchuk
Kateryna, PMI-CTT Education Manager, is responsible for developing and leading the Mentoring Program to promote professional development and knowledge sharing among project management professionals in the community.
Kateryna has over a decade of experience in teaching within higher education, corporate learning and project management, in particular agile project management frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban. With a robust blend of academic knowledge, hands-on experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement, Kateryna is working on pioneering innovative strategies in project management education, fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
In her current role as a full-time professor at Conestoga College, she coordinates the IT Project Management program, bringing a unique perspective to IT project management and innovative learning solutions to develop cutting-edge curriculum that prepares students for success in the dynamic field of IT project management.
Kateryna holds a Ph.D. degree in business economics and management, as well as being a certified Project Management Professional and Professional Scrum Master. Kateryna is passionate about leveraging technology and education to drive organizational growth and innovation.
