Join us as the PMI Canada’s Technology Triangle Chapter celebrates its 25th Anniversary Gala, a milestone evening guided by the theme “Honouring Our Legacy, Inspiring Our Future,” hosted at the elegant Cambridge Mill.

This special evening marks 25 years of PMI-CTT’s journey, shaped by visionary leaders, dedicated volunteers, and engaged members who have helped build a strong, vibrant, and impactful professional community. It is a moment to pause, reflect, and proudly celebrate the people and milestones that have brought the Chapter to where it is today.

Together, we will honour the legacy of those who shaped the Chapter and look ahead with optimism to the future of project management in Canada’s Technology Triangle.

Ian McLean President & CEO of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce

Ian McLean is the President & CEO of the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, one of Ontario’s largest and most influential business organizations, representing over 1,400 member businesses across Kitchener, Waterloo and Woolwich. He has led the Chamber since 2010, guiding its work in advocacy, networking, education, and member services to support economic growth and community prosperity in Waterloo Region.

 Before his current role, Ian served seven years on Waterloo City Council, where he chaired the Finance and Strategic Planning Committee and contributed to numerous local boards and committees. His deep engagement in the community also includes currently serving as Chair of the Waterloo Regional Police Services Board and holds leadership roles on several boards, including Knox College at the University of Toronto, the Immigration Partnership of Waterloo Region, BESTWR, and Canada’s Innovation Corridor Business Council.

 Ian holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He is known for his commitment to strategic problem‑solving, collaboration between public and private sectors, and fostering a thriving regional economy.

 Ian is a proud father of two amazing daughters and one great dog.
