Conestoga College Project Management Award - 2012 Award
The 2012 PMI-CTT Scholarship Award is an annual award sponsored by the Canada’s Technology Triangle chapter of the Project Management Institute and provided to a team of Conestoga College Business students who best demonstrate excellence in their project management processes.
This year, we had four finalists:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters Fashion Show and Raffle – a fundraiser in support of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Guelph, ON (Emma Bruce, Bianca Fradette, Jessica Leu, Jocelyn Phillips, Amanda Sanvido).
- Building Hope with our Athletes – a fundraiser in support of the Special Olympics (Sarah De Boer, Daniel Fedy, Kaleigh Hooper, Sean Leggett, Sarine Seropian).
- CIM Networking Event – an networking and information session providing information about the Canadian Institute of Management to Conestoga students (Zheng Jiang, Amanda Lyster, Scott Ross).
- Fundraiser for the Windsors – a fundraiser in support of missionaries in Zambia (Brittany Johnson, Amanda Klassen, Samantha Klingenberg, Cameron Lynk-Orme, Daniel Parasram).
Presenting the awards were Marc Blanchette, PMI-CTT Chapter President and Andrew Pearen PMI-CTT Vice-President, Professional Development.
While all teams did extremely well, the award was presented to the Fundraiser for the Windsors project team.
