Project Success in the Presence of Uncertainty

Participants will learn how to develop a risk-adjusted project plan by applying the 5 immutable principles of project success, risk-based thinking, and project pre-mortems.

Participants will:

          expand their professional network

          learn essential risk management concepts

          engage in group activities

          conduct a project pre-mortem

          identify and evaluate project risks

          create a risk adjusted-project plan for a project of their choice

Topics will include:

          5 immutable principles of project success

          How uncertainty creates the opportunity for risk

          Continually managing risk using risk-based thinking

          Using a risk-adjusted project plan to improve the probability of success
